Chickens!

Our chicken adventure started in the spring of 2021 with 9 little chicks we call Brood Alpha. They are a mix of Light Brahmas,

Rhode Island Reds and Australorps.

We've since added 16 more birds that we call Bravo Brood.

They are a mix of Barnevelders, Buff Brahmas and Barred Rocks.

Two roosters are included in this batch named Elvis and Wesley.

We have suffered loses from both broods for unknown reasons.

We have also nursed some sick chickens back to excellent health.

Along the journey we have learned a lot about the ways of chicken keeping.

But mostly we love the "chicken therapy" they provide just by hanging around them.

Oh, and the eggs!

The Plan

We currently offer farm fresh eggs for $5 per dozen.
